Abstract

Character Education in the Book of Tanwir Al-Qulub by Muhammad Amin Alkhurdi and its Implementation in Education. Character education has become a major concern in various fields of education, including in the context of religion-based education. One of the works that raises the theme of character education in Islam is the Book of Tanwir Al-Qulub written by Muhammad Amin Alkhurdi. In this book, Alkhurdi explains the importance of character education in forming a good and moral person in Islam. The book Tanwir Al-Qulub is one of the books that explores this in depth. This book discusses the main characteristics that a Muslim must have, such as honesty, justice, patience, humility, simplicity, and respect for others. Alkhurdi illustrates these values ​​through verses from the Koran and hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad SAW.
