Abstrak

Implementation of Islamic Boarding School Management in Forming Disciplined Character of Students at Al Muchith Islamic Boarding School. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic boarding school management in shaping the character of student discipline at the Al Muchith Islamic Boarding School. The focus of the study includes the stages of management consisting of planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising in shaping student discipline. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with a case study. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman interactive model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity was obtained through triangulation techniques, both from sources, methods, and theories. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of Islamic boarding school management at the Al Muchith Islamic Boarding School runs systematically and effectively in shaping the character of student discipline. Careful planning, good organization, implementation with a system of habituation and exemplary behavior, and ongoing supervision are the main factors for success in building student discipline. This study recommends that Islamic boarding schools continue to improve their evaluation of the student discipline development system so that they can adapt to the development of the times without abandoning the values ​​of Islamic education. In addition, the active involvement of all elements of the Islamic boarding school, including students, ustadz, and administrators, is very important to create a conducive environment in forming the character of students who are disciplined and have noble morals.
